Hair Restoration
What is Hair Restoration?
Hair loss (Alopecia) can affect just your scalp or your entire body, and it can be temporary or permanent. It can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or a normal part of aging. Anyone can lose hair on their head, but it’s more common in men. Baldness typically refers to excessive hair loss from your scalp. In the type of patchy hair loss known as alopecia areata, hair loss occurs suddenly and usually starts with one or more circular bald patches that may overlap. It can lead to total hair loss.
Symptoms and Complications
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
- Gradual thinning on top of head
- Circular or patchy bald spots.
- Sudden loosening of hair.
- Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp.
Treatment Options
PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma hair restoration procedure is considered as a great breakthrough in hair growth therapy. The treatment involves drawing the patient’s blood separating the plasma from cells. The platelets and growth factors are collected from the sample and injected into the scalp where the hair is thinning which in turn stimulates hair follicles and make hair grow, even in genetic bald spots. It decreases the hair fall, improves the quality of hair and causes thickening of fine miniaturized hair.
Mesotherapy treatment regulates the growth factors, proteins, and vitamins in the scalp of the Alopecia patients. Mesotherapy for hair is undoubtedly a quick way to restore the lost hair by restoring the hormonal balance and subdue the effects of DHT hormones. This is done by injecting in the least painful way, nutrient boosters in the scalp with the help of an injection gun to aid in the nourishing and hydrating of the scalp. This also includes initiating cell metabolism, eliminating infections and promoting and accelerating hair growth, improving blood circulation in the scalp and strengthening and reviving the hair follicles to help create dense, voluminous, strong, long and healthy tresses.
